The National Weather Service’s wind advisory for much of Clark County (including Las Vegas) is scheduled to run until 8 this evening. Gusts up to 40mph are expected. some neighborhoods may experience gusts up to 50mph.
While scattered showers are possible through tomorrow morning, not much – if any – accumulation is expected. Current forecast models suggest up to a tenth of an inch at most. Some parts of southern Nevada may get more than that, while others may get nothing.
Cooler temps are the other big story out of this storm system. After high temps in the 90s the past few days, we won’t be getting out of the 70s today and tomorrow.
