Not wanting to sound like the boy who cried wolf, but the complete closure of a freeway really is a big deal – – even if it’s only for the overnight hours.
This *is* a Project Neon shutdown of I-15, but unlike the first two, this one affects the *southbound* lanes – from Sahara down to Spring Mountain. You’ll be coned off to the flyover ramp to eastbound Sahara. Stay in the right lane because you’ll need to get to southbound Industrial, where you continue on to Mel Torme – at the Fashion Show mall – onto westbound Spring Mountain, over the freeway to the ramp to the southbound 15. The closure starts at 11 Wednesday night and is scheduled to run until 5 Thursday morning.
Like the shutdowns of the *north* 15 over the past few weeks, this closure is all about NDOT crews putting in new overhead messaging signs.

Buckle up, drive carefully and put down that phone!
