It’s not *always* about Project Neon. . .
Today we’re heading to Henderson for a heads-up on a long running street renovation that *could* Drive You Crazy. It’s a nearly 3-and-a-half mile stretch of Valle Verde from Warm Springs all the way south past I-215 to Horizon Ridge. Drivers in the area may have noticed the beginnings of the project, especially along the milelong stretch of Valle Verde between Warm Springs and the railroad tracks. The City of Henderson’s Kathy Blaha tells me there will be a lot of new asphalt, concrete, street lights, curb/gutter & sidewalk work not to mention landscaping and new signage by the time they’re done sometime in October. The $5.4million project will include lane reductions and occasional closures.
Buckle up, drive carefully – – and put down that phone!
