Ramping up a couple of ramp closures in the Spaghetti Bowl
The Project Neon “Main Event” is taking away access to MLK from both northbound I-15 and northbound US95 this weekend, but there are a couple of simple workarounds. They’ll add a few more minutes to your trip, so plan accordingly. For northbounders on I-15, just take the ramp to north 95, exit at Rancho, come back around on the south 95 and take the MLK exit. For drivers already on the north 95, kinda the same thing – – just stay on the freeway through the Spaghetti Bowl, grab that Rancho exit, and come back around to MLK. Another option: get off at Rancho, stay in the right lane and make a quick right on Bonanza over to MLK. This is scheduled to start at 10 tonight and finish at 5am Monday. Remember: some Project Neon work was delayed by weather earlier this week, so keep an eye on the sky – and your social media apps – just not while you’re driving.
