Superhero Nikki

Nikki Takeya, RN Manager of the Tenaya Urgent Care and Nellis Convenient Care, has been a TIRELESS warrior during this time of crises. She has often quietly worked every day of the week in some capacity during the pandemic to fill nursing and door screening shifts due to the effects of COVID-19 on our own staff. At the same time, she has worked on careful details to keep our staff safe such a developing safe zones for PPE placement and breakroom safety.

Nikki has collaborated with every department, especially Adult Medicine and Pediatrics, to make sure our patients are screened safely and are seen by the provider of their choice whenever possible. She rallies her staff by being a call away and dropping off sweet home-baked treats during her check-in visits. Her guidance to our entire staff has been invaluable in keeping everyone up to date on the ever changing protocols as our pandemic knowledge evolves. This quiet force of nature definitely represents a “Health Care Superhero.”
