The Las Vegas Raiders are now 5-6 after losing 20-13 to the Miami Dolphins. Interim head coach Antonio Pierce now has suffered his first head coaching loss.

Despite losing to the Dolphins, the Silver and Black defense stepped up, holding one of the best high-powered offenses in the NFL to only 20 points.

Three Raider defenders shined for the Silver and Black defense against the Dolphins despite the loss. Those three defenders are Luke Masterson, Nate Hobbs, and Isaiah Pola-Mao.

Second-year linebacker Masterson finished the game with four tackles, including one forced fumble. He now has eight total tackles for the Silver and Black defense on the season.

Hobbs also finished the game with a forced fumble as one of the three turnovers the Silver and Black defense forced on the powered Dolphins offense. He ended the game with eight total tackles, including a massive fourth and one stop he forced in the first half.

Hobbs has 51 tackles with one sack and one interception in his third season as a Raider defensive back.

Lastly, defensive back Isaiah Pola-Mao stepped in and shined on the Silver and Black defense against the Dolphins. He stepped in and replaced injured cornerback Marcus Epps in the second half and forced one interception early in the third quarter.

One of the goals the Raiders wanted to improve this season was the ability to force turnovers on defense. The Raiders now have a total of 17 turnovers forced on the season.

The Raiders now put the 20-13 loss behind them and focus on their week 12 and first divisional game against the defending Super Bowl Champs Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs are currently 7-2 on the season and top of the AFC. The Chiefs have wins over the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Chicago Bears, the New York Jets, the Minnesota Vikings, the Denver Broncos, the Los Angles Chargers, and the Miami Dolphins and losses to the Detroit Lions and Denver Broncos.

The Raiders' defense looks to continue its success against another great, high-powered offense this Sunday.

The Silver and Black will return home next week to celebrate Thanksgiving and take on their AFC West Rival, the Kansas City Chiefs, on Sunday, November. 26, at 4:25 p.m. EST/1:25 p.m. PST.
