The Vegas Golden Knights will host a free Holiday Hockey Skills before Christmas.

The clinic will be Friday, December 21 from 6:15 – 7:15 p.m. at City National Arena. The event will be led by Golden Knights Director of Hockey Operations Misha Donskov and Senior Manager of Youth Hockey Matt Flynn.

The skills Clinic is for 8-10-year-olds who have completed a Learn to Play class or program.

“Skating, puckhandling, passing, and shooting are the fundamental skills required to play the game of hockey,” said Vegas Golden Knights Director of Hockey Operations Misha Donskov. “The core focus of the VGK Holiday clinic is to enhance these skills. Additionally, our participants will be challenged with drills and exercises that focus on individual and team tactics – all critical components of effective youth hockey development. We are proud to offer this clinic and are looking forward to hosting on December 21.”

The event also features a 60-minute on-ice session broken down into 50 minutes of skill development and 10 minutes of small area games.
