Vegas product, Brown selected by Washington Wizards in NBA Draft 1st round

Another Las Vegas product is heading to the pros. 

Oregon Ducks forward and ex-Centennial High School standout, Troy Brown Jr. was selected in the first round (#24) of the NBA Draft by the Washington Wizards.

Brown was a 2017-2018 Pac-12 All-Freshman Team Honorable Mention. He averaged 6.2 rebounds per game to lead Oregon and ranked 16th in the Pac-12 Conference. His 55 steals ranked tied for ninth on the UO single-season list.

His high school career was stellar at Centennial being a five-star recruit, according to ESPN and ranked 18th in the top 100, and was the fifth-ranked overall small forward for 2017.

Brown was named to the McDonald’s All-America team and played in the All-America Game
