A man’s crime spree came to an abrupt end on Saturday when he crashed a stolen car after breaking into a home, according to police.
The incident began around 1:40 p.m. at a home in the area of Bonanza Road and Decatur Boulevard.
A man broke into a home with people inside and possibly fired a gun, but the report of gunfire is unconfirmed at this time, said Lt. Ken Romain, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Officers arrived at the scene quickly and the subject ran from the home and stole a car, Romain said.
The air unit followed the man in the stolen car until he crashed into two cars at the intersection of Valley View Boulevard and Oakey Boulevard, Romain said.
The man attempted to escape again, but officers were able to catch him, Romain said.
Two people in the other cars suffered minor injuries due to the crash as did the subject.
