Metro detectives said they have arrested a young woman who hit and killed a man and left him for dead earlier this month.  They credit tips from the community for leading police to her.

Twenty-three-year-old Alejandra Robertson of Henderson was booked into the Clark County jail Wednesday morning on one charge of failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

John Sabo was hit by a vehicle early on the morning of August 15th in an industrial area south of The Palms.  A NHP trooper found Sabo’s body lying in the road, but it was unclear how long he had been there.  Sabo was rushed to UMC, where he later died.

Metro Det. Stephen Baker said tips from the public helped to identify Robertson.  Baker said they tracked her down and that she admitted to the crash that killed Sabo.
