Strange weather in the month of May continues with something called a “Record Low Maximum” for Wednesday.
From the 8NewsNowWeather team, Nate Tannenbaum explains: “It’s basically a record for the coolest high temp ever recorded on that dat (May 22).
It only got up to 71 degrees in Las Vegas on May 22, 1971.
But we absolutely shattered that record yesterday (5/22/19) when the mercury only reached 67!
Nate points out some irony with that particular temp, saying “That’s normally the LOW temp on May 22!”
In the video with this story Nate says a Record Low Max for today (Thursday 5/23/19) is unlikely.
