As Bette Midler famously sang, “But you’ve gotta have friends” — and friends are exactly what Big Bang Theory stars Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch have.

According to Variety, their co-stars have decided to take a pay cut so that the two women could get a raise.  Both actresses who joined the series in the third season and became regulars on the show in the fourth season are in the middle of negotiating their contracts and seeking parity with their costars.

The original five stars, Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, and Kunal Nayyar, who currently earn around $1 million per episode, would make $100,000 less per episode in the potential 11th and 12th seasons.  That $500,000 would be split between Rauch and Bialik, who are both currently in the $200,000 range, bringing their new per episode pay rate to around $450,000.

CBS and WB have not commented on the gesture or the deal.  The Big Bang Theory is currently in its 10th season.
