A 23-year-old South Korean man is due to learn his prison term for driving drunk and causing a high-speed crash that killed two teenagers in a car on a busy Las Vegas road 13 months ago.

A prosecutor says he’ll ask a judge on Monday to sentence Seong Mo Lee to 14 to 40 years.

Lee pleaded guilty in February to causing the crash that killed 17-year-old Kamesha J’Nyah Gilmore and 18-year-old Gabriell Rene Thomas in March 2015.

Police said Lee’s blood-alcohol level was twice the legal limit when the Mercedes he was driving slammed at 117 mph into a Nissan Versa making a slow U-turn on Boulder Highway.

Lee was awaiting trial at the time on a misdemeanor drunk driving charge stemming from a July 2014 arrest.
