Metro Police say entertainer and singer Chris Brown was involved in an assault and battery at the Palms Hotel Saturday morning.
According to police, Brown is a suspect in the incident that happened at 10:20 a.m. There are no reports on the extent of the injuries.
Investigators say a female victim was attending a party inside of a hotel room when an altercation took place over a cell phone in taking a picture of Brown. The victim alleged being assaulted by Brown, who at the same time took her cell phone. The female victim was escorted off property by hotel security due to the disturbance in the hallway.
A short time later, the female victim returned to the hotel where she reported the incident to hotel security.
Metro Police attempted to contact Brown in the hotel room, however they were not permitted entry, and it was later determined that he already left the location prior to officers’ arrival.
Police have not heard from Brown regarding the incident and the investigation remains on going.
This isn’t the first incident involving Brown at the resort.
In May of 2015, Police said a man got into an argument with Brown on a Monday morning and that Brown punched him.
The male victim didn’t file criminal charges against.
