The Vegas Golden Knights signed their final player to a rich contract.
Defenseman Shea Theodore inked a seven-year $36.4 million-dollar deal for an average $5.2 million a season. He’s now the 4th highest paid player on the team. General Manager George McPhee revealed the signing following Monday night’s loss to the Colorado Avalanche. In the world of salary cap sports, sometimes you’ve got to be creative and cautious and the Knights feel they did both well.
