The Las Vegas housing market is heating up, and that means much higher rent prices than last year.
A newly released national rent report by Zumper found that rental prices for a one bedroom in Las Vegas jumped 15% since last year.
While housing prices are climbing, it’s not just those looking to buy.
Las Vegas ranked as the 55th most expensive rental market in the nation last month.
The median price of a one bedroom is $920 a month while two bedrooms are around $1,100 a month.
Las Vegas is lower than the national one-bedroom median at $1,209 and $1,442 for two bedrooms.
These numbers are based on millions of verified listings Zumper with the report covering 100 cities nationwide.
While our prices are going up in the valley, they’re nowhere near the top rental market in the U.S.
San Francisco has an average price of $3,500 a month for a one bedroom.
