The Las Vegas Stadium Authority Board met with the contractors and the Raiders to discuss the stadium’s budget and design.
Raiders say the state-of-the-art facility is guaranteed to cost a maximum of $1.4 billion with 58 percent of that coming from the Raiders team which will go to pay for the team headquarters and off-site parking costs.
The total cost of the entire relocation, setup, and play is around $1.8 billion.
Plans for the stadium’s look was also presented. The design includes nine clubs inside. One club will be next to player walkouts with 108 luxury suites. The outside of stadium will look black during daytime hours but at night, it will be lit by brilliant lights. The stadium air conditioner will be set at 72 degrees, give or take five degrees, even in the summer. There will also be an 85-foot Al Davis Memorial Torch that will burn on the north end of the stadium.
