Predators dominant goaltending, timely third period goal knock off Golden Knights 1-0

The Nashville Predators exacted revenge against the Vegas Golden Knights with dominant goaltending in a 1-0 victory Tuesday night.

Backup goaltender Juuse Saros turned away all 43 Golden Knights shots to earn the shutout and improve the Predators record to 26-11-6. The lone goal came at the 8:00 mark of the third period with Kevin Fiala netting his 11th of the season.

Marc Andre-Fleury stopped 26 of 27 shots for the Golden Knights and continue their four-game road trip at Tampa Bay Thursday night against the Lightning.

The Knights fall to 29-11-3 on the season and maintain a nine-point lead in the Pacific Division.
