After a power outage that lasted more than one hour, power has been restored to McCarran International Airport’s Terminal 1 in Las Vegas.
The outage, which was initially reported by McCarran officials around 7:50 a.m., affected all systems in the A, B and C Concourses. Baggage claim was also impacted. Vendors in the airport closed and Delta, American an Southwest airlines delayed some flights as the situation was sorted out. The outage did result in some long lines and wait times.
Terminal 3 and the D Gates were not impacted by the power outage.
Jennifer Schuricht, spokeswoman for NV Energy, says the cause of the outage hadn’t yet been determined.
