Portion of U.S. 95 that runs under I-15 closed until 5 a.m. Wednesday

A portion of U.S. 95 in the Spaghetti Bowl closed Tuesday night. The area that runs under I-15 will remain closed until about 5 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The temporary closure is needed to put up an active management sign for some bridge construction as part of Project Neon’s’ “Main Event.”

However, there are ways drivers can get around the closure.  The alternate routes are as followed:

For northbound U.S. Highway 95 drivers, should take Boulder Highway, Charleston Boulevard or Eastern Avenue.

Southbound traffic can use Valley View Boulevard, Rancho Drive, or Decatur Boulevard.

NDOT is encouraging all drivers to download the Waze navigation app, which can help you pick the best route to take.
