LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Results from Tuesday’s Nevada primary election are coming in, and November races are starting to shape up.
Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo will face Democratic incumbent Gov. Steve Sisolak in November. Former attorney general Adam Laxalt will face incumbent Democratic Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto in the race for U.S. Senate. The Associated Press has declared all four winners in their primary races.
The Associated Press has also called winners in several other primaries: U.S. Rep. Dina Titus, D-Nev., has won the Democratic nomination in U.S. House District 1, and U.S. Rep. Susie Lee has won the Democratic primary for U.S. House District 3. She will face April Becker, who AP declared the winner of the Republican primary for U.S. House District 3.
Polls have closed around 9 p.m. in some parts of the state after long lines delayed voting, and election workers are processing results that didn’t start coming out until about 9:45 p.m.
Any voters who were in line at 7 p.m. were still allowed to cast their votes.
