A man is dead following a shooting in northeast Las Vegas, according to police.
The shooting happened around 3:10 p.m. at Lamb Boulevard and Owens Avenue.
When officers arrived at the scene, the 19-year-old victim was already dead, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The Clark County Coroners Office identified Gustavo Carcamo from Las Vegas with the cause of death being a gunshot wound of the chest, the manner is a homicide.
Police say Carmamo and a 50-year-old man got into an altercation after the man pulled up in a car and started chatting with the victim’s girlfriend. A gun, possibly the victims, went off killing Carcamo at the scene.
The suspect is in custody, but no charges have been filed yet.
