Flamingo Road was closed between Jones and Rainbow boulevards following a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian Thursday morning.
The crash happened just before 6 a.m.
According to Metro Police, an SUV struck a woman crossing Flamingo at Torrey Pines Drive. The woman was not in a crosswalk. The driver of the SUV fled the scene heading west on Flamingo.
The woman was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
