Henderson Police arrested a man who allegedly robbed the same bank twice.

According to police, 31-year-old Anthony Hylton was arrested on Jan. 31 for robbing the Citibank located at 10211 S. Eastern Avenue.

Henderson Police said on Oct. 7, the suspect entered the Citibank around 10 a.m. and showed a gun as he demanded money from bank employees.  Officers said Hylton then fired one round into the ground from a .45 caliber handgun before leaving the area in a black SUV with an undisclosed amount of cash.

On Jan. 17 at about 12 p.m., Hylton returned to the bank and once again demanded money after showing a gun, officers said.

Henderson Police said bank employees recognized the suspect as the same suspect from the previous robbery. The suspect stole an undisclosed
amount of cash from the teller drawer.  Police said he once again fled the scene in the same black SUV.

No one was injured during either of the two robberies.

Detectives were able to identify and locate Hylton based on surveillance video and witness
descriptions that captured both the suspect and the vehicle used in the crimes.

Hylton is being held in the Henderson Detention Center on charges of robbery with a deadly weapon, burglary while in possession of a firearm and discharge a gun into an occupied structure.
