Pedestrian critically injured in hit-and-run crash at east Desert Inn

A pedestrian suffered critical injuries in a hit-and-run crash late Friday night.

The crash happened before 10 p.m. on the 2700 block of East Desert Inn, near the Pecos-McLeod Interconnect, according to Metro Police.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and had extensive damage to car after the crash.
