Metro Police said a person driving a stolen vehicle caused two separate accidents involving two other vehicles.
According to police, around 4:38 p.m. officers were trying to locate a stolen vehicle when they observed it driving at a high rate of speed eastbound at Pecos. The stolen vehicle crashed into another car at the intersection of Pecos and Harmon.
But the driver of the stolen vehicle didn’t stop. The car continued down Harmon before crashing into another vehicle at Harmon and Sandhill.
One person hurt in that wreck and taken to Sunrise Hospital with critical injuries.
Two other people were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The intersection at Sandhill and Harmon is closed to traffic.
The suspect of the stolen vehicle was taken into custody.
