The days of free parking on the Las Vegas Strip are numbered. Wednesday, Dec. 28 is the last day locals will get to park for free at any of the MGM Resort International properties.
Fees will vary at MGM properties for parking between $8 and $10.
MGM was the first casino group to hit customers with the extra fees and charge for parking and valet, and since their announcement, other casinos such as Caesars Entertainment, along with the Wynn and Encore have followed. The Sand Corp. properties, the Tropicana, Treasure Island and Hooters have decided not to charge for parking.
8 News NOW Reporter Karen Castro has a breakdown of all of the new fees.
