NHP warns drivers to stay off roads if high


Over the New Year’s weekend, Nevada Highway Patrol made 32 arrests, 24 of those were driving under the influence.

With the New Year, comes a new challenge for all police including NHP.

Recreational marijuana became legal where Nevadans can now legally carry up to an ounce. Troopers have certain approaches to their DUI enforcement in spotting drivers that are high and taking them off the road.
