The Nevada Department of Corrections reports that 68-year-old inmate Jesse E. Dennis died at the Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center in Carson City on Sept. 8 at approximately 6:12 p.m.
Dennis was housed in the Regional Medical Facility of the Northern Nevada Correctional Center. He was committed from Clark County on Aug. 31, 2005, and was serving a sentence of 120 to Life with the Possibility of Parole for Second Degree Murder.
An autopsy will be scheduled to determine a cause of death.
