NDOT service helps stranded drivers in valley heatwave


The first day of summer is not only bringing the hot weather, but also added dangers to the roads.

Nearly every day the Nevada Department of Transportation’s Freeway Service Patrol puts ten units on both the I-15 and US 95 to find and help stranded drivers. With more stress on cars during the growing heat wave, motorists need the roadside help when the unexpected occurs.

8 News NOW reporter Brittany Edney has the story on some true heroes you’ll find on the roadways.
