The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a flood advisory for central Clark County until noon.
At 9:06 a.m. PST, Doppler radar indicated moderate to heavy rain across central and eastern Clark County. This will cause minor flooding and significant ponding of water in the advisory area.
Some locations that will experience flooding include…Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Mesquite, Boulder City, Summerlin, Nellis AFB, The Motor Speedway, Green Valley, Searchlight, Paradise, Lone Mountain, Anthem, Mountains Edge, The Strip, Blue Diamond, Downtown Las Vegas, East Las Vegas, Sam Boy Stadium and Southern Highlands.
This includes Interstate 15 in Nevada between mile markers 4 and 83,
and between mile markers 85 and 120.
