National News

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Parents are expected to spend more on back-to-school shopping this year.

The National Retail Federation expects parents to spend an average of $268 per child — that’s a 9% increase from last year.

Last year’s big sellers were computers and tablets as students geared up for online learning.

This year, it’s more a return to traditional supplies like clothes and classroom supplies.
