Metro searches for man who tried to sexually assault woman

Metro Police needs the public’s help in finding a man who allegedly tried to sexually assault a woman on July 3.

The incident took place during the morning hours at a business in the 800 block of North Lamb Boulevard.

According to Metro Police, while a woman was working, an unknown black man began harassing her by using sexually explicit language and crude comments that made the victim feel very uncomfortable. 

The suspect was asked to leave the business but he refused. At some point, the suspect grabbed the victim and tried to pull her into the restroom, police said. The victim broke away and the suspect left in an unknown newer silver sedan.

The suspect is described as a black male adult in his 20’s with a medium build and tattoos on both arms. He was last seen wearing a white tank top and red shorts with a shaved style
haircut.
