Metro Police released Thursday new surveillance pictures of a vehicle that they think is connected to a homicide that happened Aug. 17.

The vehicle, which can only be described as a dark-colored or maroon, newer-model SUV with chrome rims was last seen driving near the victim’s residence on August 16, 2015 at approximately 11:50 p.m.

Metro Police was dispatched to the 600 block of South 11th Street, the area of the deadly shooting around 12:46 a.m. on Aug. 17.   When officers arrived at the scene, they said they found a man dead with multiple gunshot wounds.

Detectives said the victim was inside the apartment when he was shot by an unknown suspect or suspects who fled the scene before the police arrived.

So far, no arrest were made in connection with the deadly shooting.  Metro Police says they’re also still working to figure out the motive for the crime.

Anyone with any information about this vehicle, or the identity or whereabouts of the suspects, is urged to contact the LVMPD Homicide Section by phone at 702-828-3521, or by email at homicide@lvmpd.com. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 702-385-5555, or on the internet at www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
