Metro says a potential workplace incident has been averted late Tuesday night. Officers say a man arrived at the Burger King on West Cheyenne near U.S. 95 just after 8:00 p.m.
Metro says the man demanded his hours be increased and reportedly told the manager and that he did not want to shoot the place up.
10 people were evacuated from the restaurant. Police say they arrested the man and was reportedly found with a 30 round magazine to a semi-automatic rifle.
Detectives are now looking to get a warrant for his backpack.
