A Metro Police officer has been arrested on child pornography charges and placed on administrative leave.
Detectives arrested officer Ruben Delgadillo on August 12 after search warrants were issued at a residence for allegations of child pornography.
Investigators from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and Internal Affairs Bureau conducted the investigation into the allegations. During the service of the search warrant Delgadillo was taken into custody without incident.
Delgadillo was booked into the Clark County Detention Center where he faces charges of one count of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Distribution of Child Pornography.
Delgadillo joined Metro in July of 2015 and is currently assigned to the Community Policing Division, Northwest Area Command.
