Often in today’s society, tragedies from mass shootings or natural disasters make it hard to focus on the good in the world. But, believe us: There is more good than there is bad, so it’s important to remember that, which is exactly what Mary Latham is trying to do.

After Latham tragically lost her mother to cancer, she decided to honor her mother’s legacy by embarking on an epic mission to further a project she started after the deadly shooting at Sandy Hook and find More Good.  Latham is traveling across the country staying with strangers and collecting stories of random acts of kindness.

Latham says she plans to compile the stories into a book that she can donate to hospital waiting rooms, all in the hopes of helping people who may being going through some of their darkest of times.

Hear Mary’s story and the passion behind her project in her own words.
