A man facing several counts of DUI after causing a crash that left three people dead faced a judge Thursday morning.

The horrific crash happened on Dec. 13 at the intersection of E. Flamingo Road and S. Eastern Avenue.  The intersection was shut down for hours after the 31-year-old hit multiple vehicles and pedestrians. Along with the three people killed, six other people were injured.

Becker told Metro Police he suffered a seizure before the crash, but he also admitted that he smoked marijuana.

During court Thursday, Becker flipped off the TV news crews following the case.  His attorney said, he has suffered multiple seizures since his arrest, but he has been denied his seizure medication by the Clark County Detention Center.

A status check hearing of the case is set for early March.
