Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman proclaimed Oct. 10 the official “Magic Johnson Day “and present him with a Key to the City in front of generations of fans during a special half-time ceremony.
“I am unbelievably honored and blessed to be a part of the magic that Earvin Johnson brings to this event. I also want to thank MGM Resorts International Chairman and CEO Jim Murren and the entire company for helping make this possible,” said Andre Cleveland, CEO ACE Network.
“Magic” and his Lakers brought home the victory over the Golden State Warriors and now turn their sights toward the regular season.
