Woman on journey to find concertgoers who saved her life

Samanta Arjune was told she would have to live the rest of her life with a bullet in her leg, but her leg eventually rejected the bullet.

She now wants to find those that helped her on the night of the shooting.

“I had some angels looking after me,” she said.

Samanta went home in a wheelchair a month after the 1 October shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival.

“I was shot in the left leg and it shattered everything going down.”

An x-ray only gives an idea of the physical pain she feels. Her leg, is now supported by a plate and seven screws.

“I literally has to learn how to walk again, how to take care of myself and it was going back to baby steps,” she said.

She is now focusing on obtaining her Nevada real estate license and locating the real life angels who helped her and her brother run from the gunfire.

“They put me in a garbage can and rolled me out like one of the big dumpsters. Hid behind me and rolled me out.”
