Clark County School Police detained a woman Friday for having a gun near Chaparral High School.
The school is located at 3850 Annie Oakley Drive.
It all started as an altercation between students, but the family of one of the students got involved.
Police said one of the teen’s aunt pulled out a gun to stop the fight because she thought her nephew was about to be harmed.
The woman is said to be a 25-year-old woman.
There wasn’t any other information released.
