WEB EXTRA: Gov. Steve Sisolak discusses Special Session, proposed budget cuts

CARSON CITY, Nev. (KLAS) — 8 News Now’s Orko Manna spoke with Gov. Steve Sisolak one-on-one while the Nevada Special Session began in Carson City.

He told us all proposed budget reductions statewide are necessary.

Some ideas include possibly raising taxes, slashing Medicaid funding by a couple hundred million dollars and keeping around 700 state employee spots vacant.
