The University Medical Center Trauma staff cared for roughly 12,000 patients last year, including a woman shot 15 times.
The shooting victim lived and was celebrated along with others during a trauma survivors’ reunion Friday hosted by the hospital. UMC Trauma staff see patients during their most critical time, but the luncheon reunites caretakers with survivors.
Friday highlighted recovery stories including a North Las Vegas woman, who was shot multiple times last year.
