HENDERSON (KLAS) — The 13-year-old boy hit and killed by a car Monday has been identified by the Clark County Coroner’s office as Rex Patchett.
According to Henderson Police, Patchett was walking on a sidewalk when the driver of a car lost control and went onto the sidewalk hitting the teen.
This deadly crash happened around 5:18 p.m. on the 100 block of East Paradise Hills Drive near East Horizon Ridge Pkwy.
Police said impairment is not considered a factor in the crash but a preliminary investigation shows the driver was speeding.
