The Golden Knights are part of one of the great father/son combinations in the National Hockey League.

It makes sense if you’re a Hall of Famer that your son also knows his way around the ice. Forward Paul Stastny has a strong pedigree on the Golden Knights roster. His father Peter and uncle Anton Stastny defected from then communist Czechoslovakia in 1980. The players wanted freedom and a chance to play in the NHL while making the most of it.
