Police: Man found dead inside business following drug-related robbery

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man was found dead inside of a business following a drug-related robbery on Sunday.

Las Vegas police responded to the scene, located in 3000 block of Contract Avenue near Charleston Boulevard and Mojave Road, around 10:30 a.m. Sunday and found a male deceased in the back room of the business from a gunshot wound.

After the preliminary investigation, police say they discovered the business was a clothing store which also acted as a recording studio. Police say marijuana was also being sold illegally out of the back of the business.

Sunday morning, a customer came to the business to buy marijuana and noticed no employees in the business. They then found the man shot in the back and called 911.

No suspects have been identified.

The identification of the victim as well as the cause and manner of death will be
released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
