UPDATE: Coroner identifies man shot, killed while sitting inside car

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Clark County Coroner identified Raymond Roseby, 28, as the man shot and killed while sitting inside his car early Aug. 8. His death was ruled a homicide, caused by multiple gunshot wounds.

The incident occurred near UNLV’s campus around 12:33 a.m.

Las Vegas police responded to the 4900 block of South Maryland Parkway, near Flamingo Road, and found Roseby in the driver’s seat suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the victim was talking to the unidentified suspect, who was standing outside of the driver’s window, when he was shot.

The suspect fled the scene.
