Dispute leads to a fatal stabbing near Bonanza, Eastern

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Metro police are investigating a homicide Friday night near Bonanza and Eastern.

Officers say they responded to a report of a stabbing at approximately 5:00 p.m. in the 2700 block of East Cedar Avenue

Officers located the victim in the middle of the field and attempted life-saving measures. The person later died.

Police say the victim got into an argument with a male suspect in the field. During the argument, the suspect stabbed the victim and fled the scene.

The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
