UPDATE: Metro police arrest a suspect in connection with a deadly shooting on Fremont Street Thursday night.

The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man in his 20s was shot to death in a convenience store parking lot following an argument with another man.

The shooting happened Thursday around 9:45 p.m. in downtown Las Vegas along Fremont Street and 15th.

According to Metro police, the victim pulled up next to a man and woman parked in the store’s parking lot and got into a verbal argument with the couple. Police said the man shot the victim and fled the scene.

Witnesses were able to get a license plate number and officers found the couple and arrested them.
