UPDATE: Human remains found in trash can near home on Charleston, Oakey

UPDATE: Human remains found in a trash can on Arville Street have been identified as belonging to 46-year-old Bernard Robledo of Las Vegas. The Clark County Coroner’s Office released the identification on Tuesday.


LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — According to Lt. Brian Boxler, a homicide investigation is being conducted on Arville, near Charleston and Oakey at a duplex.

On Saturday, Sept. 4 at approximately 9:57 p.m., LVMPD received a report of human remains located in a trash can at a property in the 1500 block of Arville Street.

Responding officers located the remains and notified Homicide detectives at the scene. At this time, a suspect or a motive has not been identified.

Neighbors report there has been police activity in the area since Saturday night around 10 p.m.

This is an ongoing investigation.

The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released
by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
